Electric Jellyfish was a popular, highly interactive light and sound installation of Vivid Sydney. The installation was a true collaboration between the Dolby engineering team, Equilibrium Design and sound designer, Sofie Loizou.

Visitors were invited to activate the jellyfish by “plucking” an electric light string which encircled the dome. By jumping, dancing and waving their arms, they illuminated the jellyfish with soaring flares of light and sound.

I was responsible for colour exploration and designing the look and feel of the flares, closely working with a motion designer to bring the jellyfish to life.
