The UNSW Faculty of the Built Environment is an internationally renowned leader in urban and spatial research. The Faculty wanted to create an Undergraduate Guide to inform and inspire future students, but they specifically wanted to champion all the available courses on offer and to remind everyone that the Faculty is about “more than just architecture”.

To solve this challenge, I designed a vibrant colour system to showcase all seven courses offered by the Faculty with each course represented by a unique hero colour. This concept successfully appealed to the target market whilst operating within UNSW’s established brand guidelines.

The colour system evolved into a mini-brand that inspired the look and feel of Luminocity, UNSW’s annual graduation exhibition, along with the Faculty’s future marketing collateral.
